REGAL GIVES BACK
As cancer researchers, we work hard to find healthcare solutions for the communities we serve. However, it can be difficult for the community to see our efforts. Through outreach we hope to make our research accessible and to engage those who may benefit the most from our work. We recently hosted focus groups for cancer survivors to share their experiences around diagnosis and treatment. While our participants received gift cards for participation, we recognize that the community as a whole has greater need. We would gave back to the Caswell County community in association with the cancer support group by preparing care packages for the children in the community. REGAL team donated to this cause as we work to build bridges and accessibility in our underserved communities.
